It is a basic food. When tax has to be paid on a basic food then it is indeed a gross violation of a fundamental right. The defiance we are commemorating was a demonstration of the people\u2019s power in a nonviolent non confrontational way. As we march we need to once again pledge our support for:-<\/p>\n<p>Ubuntu, end to wars, end to environmental degradation, social justice for all and an end to racism and sexism, end to all forms of violence and for equity and a better life for all.<\/p>\n<p>This march is not competitive.
