XXI Century&#8221; by Nursultan Nazarbayev has gained the status of an official document of the General Assembly and the UN Security Council in the IV Nuclear Security Summit, held in the period of March 31 &#8211; April 1, 2016 in Washington, DC.<\/p>\n<p class=\"western\" lang=\"en-US\" align=\"justify\">According to the qualitatively new paradigm published under the authorship of the President of Kazakhstan the world community must take comprehensive action towards the fateful questions of war and peace.<\/p>\n<p class=\"western\" lang=\"en-US\" align=\"justify\">First, \u00a0there must be gradual progress to a world free of nuclear and other weapons of mass destruction.<\/p>\n<p class=\"western\" lang=\"en-US\" align=\"justify\">Secondly,\u00a0we must build on and expand existing geographical initiatives to gradually eliminate war as a way of life.<\/p>\n<p class=\"western\" lang=\"en-US\" align=\"justify\">Thirdly,\u00a0it is necessary to eliminate such relics of the Cold War as military blocs, which threaten global security and impede broader international cooperation.<\/p>\n<p class=\"western\" lang=\"en-US\" align=\"justify\">Fourthly\u00a0it is important to adapt the international disarmament process to the new historic conditions.<\/p>\n<p class=\"western\" lang=\"en-US\" align=\"justify\">Fifthly, a world without war requires primarily fair global competition in international trade, finance, and development.<\/p>\n<p class=\"western\" lang=\"en-US\">President Nazarbayev said \u201cIn the 21<sup>st<\/sup>\u00a0century, we all need peace.
